Volunteer:
FONTEN encourages professionals and current students in the fields of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, recreation therapy, chiropractics, prosthetics and orthotics, rehabilitation science and other allied professions interested in learning and volunteering in Haiti to complete our volunteer application form or email consuelo.fonten.haiti@gmail.com. Physiotherapy students from Canadian and American Universities have completed credits towards their programs with 2-5 week placements volunteering and studying with us. We most especially celebrate and appreciate continued support and a series of long term, young professional occupational and physiotherapist volunteers from America Solidaria.

Donate
Patient fee for care (less than 1$/hr for those who can afford it) only covers up to 14% of costs to run our basic programs. We depend on your donations to keep our doors open for persons with injuries and disabilities in Haiti. Tax receipts are available for residents of Chile through our partners at San Carlos por Haiti. A simple paypal option for international Friends of FONTEN can be found here.
